Grade 6 - History
1. We are reading about the change in religion, culture and art after the French Revolution.
2. The students tooks notes that were teacher directed and student generated by listening to the information. This will be turned in for a grade.
Grade 6 - Science
1. The students took what they learned yesterday about dichotomous keys and applied that to Idaho fish.
2. They did this exercise and turned it in for a grade.
Grade 7 - Science
1. One third of the class was still taking their ISATS.
2. Students worked on their Lexicon and Gratitude Journal for the week.
3. Due for all students: Friday.
4. Gratitude Journal: Tolerance.
5. Lexicon: Philanthropy.
Grade 8 - Science
1. Due: Tomorrow
2. Write on Nuclear Energy. Your report should include but do not be limited by these questions.
3. What is the status of nuclear plants in the U.S.? (How many do we have?)
4. What are the reasons we would want to use nuclear power in the U.S.?
5. What is nuclear energy? (Probably you would want to write about this first.)
6. What are its disadvanatages?
7. What is the controversies surrounding its use?
8. Use the hand out from the pamphlet "Imprimis".
9. Use the handout that I gave you at the end of the day: Nuclear Energy: Benefits for All Americans.
10. You can also find your own sources. Make sure you keep a record of them, so you can put them on your Works Cited page.
