Grade 6 - History
1. Began reciting the Declaration of Independence.
2. Those who haven't done theirs need to be studying to be ready for tomorrow.
3. I will be listening to these until the end of the week.

MARCH 27. 2008

Grade 6 - History
1. We split up the Declaration of Independence into several parts.
2. Each row of tables has their own part.
3. We have two main sections that we do together. We also do the last sentence together.
4. We are starting into the French Revolution.
5. We played a vocabulary matching game.

Grade 6 - Science
1. Finished looking at the life cycle of the steelhead trout by lookiing at one of its scales.

Grade 7 - Science
1. Finished two days of the cell test.
2. I will average both of those grades together to give you your final test grade.

Grade 8 - Science
1. We have been reading primiary sources about "energy" in the world today.
2. We are getting ready to write a report about it as soon as the students have studied enough about it.

2. We finished the definitions of "Declaration of Independence".
3. Recited the "Declaration of Independence".

Grade 6 - Science
1. Designed the title page for new unit: Trout in the Classroom

Grade 7 - Science
1. Lexicon: malign - Due Thursday.
2. Class discussion and class notes on Mitochondria

Grade 8 - Science
1. Continuing our discussion of the nuclear elements by expanding into nuclear energy.
2. Tomorrow's Assignment: Read about the history of Denmark's Energy Policy
3. Each student that participated in today's discussion recevied Class Participation Points
4. Class Participation Points will continue through our work on this toopic.

Grade 6 - History & Science
1. We watched a film about Isaac Newton.
2. The Core Knowledge Curiiculum directs that we learn about certain scientists this year.
3. Newton is such a pivitol person in history that we study him in both history and science.

Grade 7 - Science
1. We are continuing with Cell Biology.
2. Remember, you need to be studying and reviewing all the information taught so far.
3. Quizes can be over any part of that information.

Grade 8 - Science
1. We finished reading the book on Marie Curie.
2. Because of the number of students who went to Boise for the school, I will be picking up the homework assignment that was due today, tomorrow. So--------------
QUESTION SET 7 (#1-11) will be due TOMORROW.
3. We will be watching a movie about Marie Curie tomorrow.

1. Memorizing the first part of the Declaration of Independence.

Grade 6 - Science
1. All but Tyrus have finished their Marine Animal Report. Wow! What a good job!! It's been fun to here about all the ocean creatures!
2. After Tyrus gives his report, we will watch a fantastic movie about ocean animals that shows from microscopic to very large animals.

Grade 7 - Science
1, Quiz tomorrow - FIRST!
2. Lexicon: Magnanimous - Due tomorrow.
